Trama
Un superbo cast si "mette in riga", pronto all'assalto, nella brillante saga di Stanley Kubrick sulla guerra del Vietnam e sul processo disumanizzante che trasforma uomini qualunque in rodati assassini. Joker, Animal, Pyle "palla di lardo", Eightball, Cowboy ed altri ancora vengono precipitati nell'inferno di un campo di addestramento, ferocemente dominato da uno spietato istruttore, che considera i pretesi eroi degli smidollati, dei vermi o qualcosa di meno. L'azione è selvaggia, la storia generosa, il dialogo affilato da uno humour caustico.
