Trama
Forbes Nash Jr e' un giovane, timido ed eccentrico matematico che grazie alle sue geniali teorie riesce a raggiunge la fama e un prestigioso posto da ricercatore al Mit. In piena guerra fredda la sua abilita' nel decifrare codici segreti attira l'attenzione del Pentagono. Ma le sue manie di persecuzione lo spingono verso la malattia mentale e il ricovero in ospedale dove viene sottoposto a sedute di elettroshock e a massicce dosi di farmaci. Grazie all'amore della moglie Alicia riesce a tornare all'universita' e, ormai settantenne, viene insignito del premio Nobel.
